Thousands of Skype customers lose their 0207 numbers

Skype is facing a backlash from thousands of customers as it admitted that it would have to cut off 10,000 0207 numbers by 20 December 2007. The VOIP provider leases 020 7870 numbers from an intermediary GCI Telecom, however in error the numbers have been assigned to another company. Skype customers are furious with the situation.
